Zebra VC80x Android

The Android Qualcomm 8056 1.8 GHz hexa-core 64 bit with power optimization and 4GB RAM is installed on the VC80x, and it is ready to give you all the power you need and more. For mass storage, the VC80x has 32GB eMMC (pSLC). To help you make the migration from Windows to Android, Zebra included certain features to make it easier, such as having Ivanti Velocity pre-loaded and licensed so you can run 5250 or VT terminal emulators without backend modification or required user training. Furthermore, Zebra has equipped all its products with Android with Mobility DNA’s Enterprise Home Screen so you can select which apps and device features are accessible to your workers and lockdown other applications.

The VC80x was designed for durability even in harsh environments, such as outdoor yards, airports, sea ports, and railway yards, with a freezer-version of the VC80x. It has a seal rating of IP66, so it is totally sealed and protected against dust and water from heavy seas or strong jets of water. Even its connectors are sealed, and it was tested for extreme temperature, shock, and vibration.

To make it easy to view and input data, you can select a super bright screen with 1,000 NITs for viewing outdoors. The VC80x was also built with six direct and six soft programmable keys to let you execute a multi-step process by pressing only one key. The resistive touchscreen, soft keyboard and haptic vibration feedback make it easy to use a passive stylus or your finger to input data, even when you’re wearing the thickest gloves. In addition, the touchscreen is field replaceable to help you cut back on device down time and get it back up and running as quickly as possible.
