The TC72’s large 4.7 inch display is all-touch, full color, protected with scratch-resistant and shatter-proof Corning Gorilla glass, and is readable outdoors in bright sunlight. With the display’s dual mode, it captures finger, stylus, or gloved fingertip, even when the display is wet! It has dedicated scan buttons on either side, and volume and power buttons for quick navigation. Push-To-Talk is pre-loaded and pre-licensed with a dedicated PTT key on the side so you can quickly reach any other worker to help with any task.
The ultra-rugged TC72 is waterproof, drop-proof, dust-proof, and tumble proof. It has a seal rating of IP65 or IP68, depending on the specific configuration. Its operating temperature is from -4°F to 122°F. Across the full temperature range, it is capable of withstanding 6 foot drops to concrete, or at room temperature it can endure 8 foot drops to concrete. It is also built to withstand 2,000 tumbles at 3.2 feet.
