Most cameras can store up 40 days of 24/7 recording, or additional licenses for 90- or 180-day cloud storage can be purchased.

This cloud-based dashboard gives network-wide visibility and control of all the cameras. Users can create and organize video walls and either download video clips or export them via a shareable link. And when a new camera is plugged in, the cloud automatically routes the video stream so users can stream locally or even remotely. 

With cloud-based management, your network’s security is not compromised. All access to the camera is encrypted with a public key infrastructure. Two-key authentication is integrated into the cloud management, providing strong access controls.  One of the benefits of the cloud-management is all of Meraki’s devices — access points, cameras, switches — are managed through the same web-based dashboard.
